The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the design of the tool and the steps for designing the proposed tool for the material lifting process on the IS-10 machine using the HOQ (house of quality) method. The use of the method in this study is to design a tool that suits the needs of workers on the IS-10 machine and this study uses a questionnaire, in this study the following results are that consumers or operators want tools that can support work, such as tools that do not cause back pain. , Practical tools, tools do not drain energy, tools do not cost a lot of money, from customer requirements are changed into design requirements and tool manufacture is prioritized based on column weight, namely the lift hoist system (33.45), tool dimensions (32.75), capacity (27.33), materials and tools (18.36)
