Abstract

This research was conducted at the On Vehicle Test (OVT) Department which is part of the R & D PT. XYZ, assigned at the Proving Ground, Karawang. There is a problem that exists when employees are changing SUV tires. Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) is a method in the field of ergonomics that is used quickly to assess the posture of the neck, back, arms, wrists and legs of an employee. REBA will be used to evaluate employee posture. In the measurement before repairs were carried out, a REBA value of 11 was obtained, which means that this condition is dangerous, so inspection and changes are needed right now. After submitting a proposal to design a Tire Lifter, improvements will be made using the Anthropometric approach, so that the dimensions of the Tire Lifter are 84 cm, 82 cm wide, and 135 cm table height. After making repairs, REBA testing was carried out. Based on testing, the REBA value after repair is 1, so it is very acceptable and no further action is needed
